Rocking Cross Ranch is a working cattle-citrus operation located in central Florida. With a family background in rodeo spanning over sixty years, we have accumulated a knowledge of the basic traits of a true performance horse. We have recently started a breeding program in which we intend to preserve the bloodlines of traditional rodeo horses while integrating todayís top bloodlines.
Our new stallion is Iris Zevi, an own son of Zevi, and out of a daughter of Top Moon. He is the sire of winners of over $90,000 on the track, with a limited crop to race. We are very excited about this horse, and feel that he will be an excellent cross on our mares.

We believe that the most influential factor in making a great horse is a great mare, and intend to keep our broodmare band to a select few proven performance horses. We currently have own daughters of the following great stallions:
- Dash for Perks, the sire of several great barrel and racehorses, whose get have earned in excess of $3 million.
- Okie Toes, a son of Otoe who sired many great performance horses. He holds the distinction of siring a horse that qualified to the National Finals Rodeo in the calf roping event, and returned a few years later in the steer wrestling event. There are very few stallions that have produced an all-around horse of this caliber, and we are very proud to have one of his last producing daughters.
- Streakin La Jolla, the great stallion whose offspring have earned approximately $20 million in racing.
We currently have three own daughters of Wonder Otoe. The sire of several National Finals Rodeo qualifiers in barrel racing and many great all-around horses, he has proven himself to be a phenomenal sire of rodeo horses.
We take pride in our horses, and are proud to carry on the great foundation bloodlines found in their pedigrees. Our current broodmares carry on the bloodlines of the following horses: Bartender, Blondyís Dude, Dash for Cash, Dash for Perks, Doc Olena, Docís Quixote, Dash Ta Fame, Easy Jet, Freckles Playboy, King, Leo, Lowryís Dutchman, LRís Jose, Mr San Peppy, Okie Toes, Otoe, Otoeís Wonder, Peppy San Badger, Raise Your Glass, Rocket Bar, Rocket Wrangler, Streakin La Jolla, Streakin Six, Sugar Bars, Sun Frost, The Ole Man, Three Bars, Triple Chick, Wimpy, Wonder Otoe, Young Gun, and Zevi.
We take time with our horses, making sure that each one has a proper chance by riding them outside of the arena before riding them inside of the arena. We believe that in order for a horse to be able to properly perform in any event, they must be broke enough to execute the commands of their rider. Therefore, we make sure our horses are well broke before they begin their training in rodeo events so they do not develop bad habits.
Our goal is to enhance the genetic traits of both stallion and mare, start the foals as two year olds, allow them to mature physically and mentally, and become true all-around horses!
